Who is Thomas?

Hi! I am Thomas Dixon – the Charming Chilean Magician, and my goal is for your guests to have a memorable time, so you can relax and enjoy your event!

As a graduate magician of 3 different magic schools (unfortunately, none of them is Hogwarts…yet!), I am here to make your event unique and magical. I am crazy about magic and performing for people.

With more than 13 years of experience, I have delivered more than 130 virtual shows and hundreds of face-to-face performances for thousands of spectators. I have performed all across London, Leicester, Kent, Surrey, Essex, Midlands, at weddings, birthday parties, anniversaries, baby showers, and many other celebrations! Therefore, you are in safe hands!

FAQ

You have Questions, I have answers!

Where do you travel? And where are you based?

I’m based in Leicester (Midlands) and I travel all across the UK. My favourite places to travel are London, Coventry, Nottingham, Surrey, Essex, Kent, but I am also happy to travel internationally!

What languages do you Speak?

Spanish and English! UK based, Canadian born, yet raised in Chile, so I’m fluent in both languages.

Do you do kids' parties too?

Unfortunately no, but I do family entertainment – magic for the whole family (from the most sceptical adult to the 8 year old magic fan)

Do you do only close-up (mingling magic)?

No! I also perform virtual and stage/parlour magic (from small conference rooms to big stages)

What type of Magic do you do?

Close-up and stage magic! I use cards, coins, ropes and other small objects to create unique moments. I specialize in sleight of hand, misdirection and highly engaging strong magic.

Is it true that the hand is faster than the eye?

Well no… But once you see my magic you will probably have second thoughts ;).

From the start of reading previous reviews and seeing Thomas’s examples, there was just something about him that made me click ‘hire’, and as I thought at the time take a chance. Always listen to your gut feeling! Thomas, well, is not only an extremely nice, and friendly guy but an absolute professional and 5 star magician! I said at the time he should be on Britain’s Got Talent, but to be honest, he’s too good for them, and as he would no doubt win, then we would lose him to hire. He was very engaging with everyone, and went round all the tables many times showing his fantastic magician skills. All our guests said what a nice pleasant guy and the magic was wonderful. So close up, and yet you are stunned every time! I would not hesitate to hire Thomas again and hope my review helps you to decide to pick him. You won’t be disappointed - I only hope I will get the chance again. Thank you Thomas, you helped to make the party such a success, and as far as I’m concerned, we all felt you were part of the party too. 10 out of 10.
